Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: Exhibition “Alexei Bakhrushin. Love for the Bolshoi and Maly Theatres” to open in Sakhalin

The Bakhrushin Theatre Museum presents a collection of theatre-related rarities. The collection was amassed by Alexei Bakhrushin (1865-1529) – a collector of priceless treasures. The exhibition will be open from December 23, 2019 to February 29, 2020.

The exhibition will acquaint visitors with the most important pages in the history of theatre in Russia. It will give an opportunity to trace the most important stages in the development of Russian theatre art. About 400 exhibits on loan from the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum are on display in Sakhalin.
