Internet and History: Materials about theatres of the capital city during wartime released on Moscow Electronic School’s portal

The Moscow Electronic School’s library now provides access to a publication under the title Theatres of Moscow During the Great Patriotic War: Archive Documents and Materials. It contains unique documents from the collections of the Main Archive Directorate of Moscow.

The publication of the Moscow Archive Directorate contains a collection of documents, which cast light on the activities of leaders of the country and officials of Moscow concerning the organization of work of Moscow theatres, the development of the system of theatre authorities, history of the evacuation of theatres in 1941 and the return of their companies to the capital city in 1942-1943.
