Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: Exhibition dedicated to theatre presented in Nizhny Novgorod

The Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum presents the exhibition “The Greatness of Stage”, which is timed for the Year of Theatre in Russia. The exposition will acquaint visitors with unique works of Russian scenography from the museum’s collection.

The exhibition showcases more than 40 works of theatrical scenography, which were created between 1885 and 1973. Most of them are graphic works, which have never been displayed before.
