Museums of Russia: The Alexander Palace in Tsarskoye Selo to become a memorial museum of the Romanov family
9 January 2020
In 2020 the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve will open a museum - the Alexander Palace, which was the favourite and the last residence of Emperor Nicholas II, where he had lived after abdication until he was sent into exile to Tobolsk in the summer of 1917.
The palace was opened to the public in the 1990s. The entire exposition of the palace dedicated to the Romanov family will become available for the first time.
