Memory of Russia: A new exhibition as a part of the “Lenin-2020” anniversary project opened in the Museum Preserve “Gorki Leninskiye” in Moscow Region

On January 16, 2020 the State Historical Museum Preserve “Gorki Leninskiye” (Moscow Region) hosts an exhibition entitled “Territory of Memory. How They Taught Us to Mourn” as a part of the “Lenin-2020” anniversary project.

The exhibition features events to perpetuate the memory of Vladimir Lenin, organized by the leadership of Soviet Russia.

The exposition showcases the mourning attributes, which were used during the funerals of Leader of the Word Proletariat, photographs, albums released since 1924 to 1934, from the Museum Preserve “Gorki Leninskiye”collection.

The exposition will run until April 15, 2020.
