Marking the 75th Anniversary of the Great Victory: Project of the Victory Museum in Moscow “Front-line Portrait. Soldier’s Fate" to be presented in Belarus

An exhibition of drawings by military artists will be opened at the Museum of History and Culture of Novopolotsk (Belarus) on January 24, 2020. For the first time, ten front-line portraits of natives of the republic will be featured.

Materials for exhibiting were donated by the Victory Museum as part of the “Territory of Victory” International project.

The exposition “Front-line Portrait. Soldier’s Fate” includes images of 38 soldiers and officers. The portraits are drawn in pencil, charcoal, and ink. Ten exhibition stands are presented for the first time - they are dedicated to the natives of Belarus”, the press service of the Victory Museum said.

The Museum of History and Culture of Novopolotsk is a partner of the Victory Museum in the framework of the “Territory of Victory” International project. It aims to create an associated museum space in Russia in the field of the military history of the XXth century. More than 200 Russian museums and public organizations joined the project since its opening.
