History and Culture: The “From the Manuscript to the “Malachite Box” exhibition to open in Yekaterinburg

The Museum “Literary Life of the Urals in the XX Century” (Yekaterinburg) opened an exhibition “From the Manuscript to the “Malachite Box”, marking the publication of the academic edition of the “Malachite Box”.

The exhibition presents the unique exhibits - a briefcase and glasses of Pavel Petrovich  Bazhov, a microminiature book (0.8x0.9 cm), the first journal publications of some tales of the legendary Ural writer and a retrospective of the "Malachite Box" editions, published during Bazhov's lifetime.

The exhibition precedes the release of a unique academic publication of the "Malachite Box". The book has already been prepared for publication and will be released soon. 

The exhibition will run until February 26, 2020.
