Museums of Russia: Saint-Petersburg State Museum of Theater and Music opened the new permanent exhibition halls of the Museum of Music

The Saint-Petersburg State Museum of Theater and Music has been systematically developing its branch - the Museum of Music, which is located in a unique XVIII century estate in the center of Saint-Petersburg. The new exposition showcases unique exhibits of one of the largest musical instrument collections in the world, which is holding in the Sheremetev Palace. Modern multimedia technologies give an opportunity to focus on musical instruments and make them sound. In 2019, the first section of the exposition was opened, entitled “Instruments of the Symphony Orchestra”.

The three new permanent exhibition halls were launched on February 21, 2020.
