History of Moscow: Outdoor archival photos exhibition opened on Tverskoy, Chistoprudniy, and Gogolevsky Boulevards of the Russian capital

The Main Archive Department of the city of Moscow invites to an outdoor archive photographs exhibition on Tverskoy, Chistoprudniy, and Gogolevsky Boulevards of the Russian capital.

The street stands feature a retrospective of the happiest time in the humans' life - childhood and school years.

The street exposition presents a variety of stories from preschool children's life.

The photographs showcase the changes in the children's uniform in the XX century, as well as the atmosphere of the September 1 - the holiday of knowledge. It presents photographs of lessons in the 1930s, during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and in the second half of the last century.

Archival photographs are focusing on the system of preschool and school education in the XX century. They make it possible to improve the modern educational process and promote the effectiveness of knowledge, moral and patriotic education of the younger generation, basing on the valuable experience of the pedagogical system of the past.  

The exhibition will run until March 17.
