Marking the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory: "Children and War" exhibition of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War presented in Astrakhan

"Children and War" international exhibition of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was opened in the Astrakhan Museum of Local Lore. It features materials of museums of Russia, Belarus, Germany, the Czech Republic, and China. Its first visitors were veterans, rear workers, children born during the war and the research teams' members.

The exhibition showcases photographs of millions of children who have survived the horrors and sorrows of the war.

The main heroes of the exhibition are children - victims of the occupation, soldiers who participated in partisan movement, pioneer heroes. It also presents the life of children in the rear and evacuation.

The exhibition will run until March 24. Then it will be showcased in the regional branches of the Astrakhan Museum-Reserve.
