Society and Book Culture: "Fairy Tales by Alexander Pushkin" exhibition of illustrations of the poet’s works opened in the Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve

6 March 2020

On March 6, 2020, the "Fairy Tales by Alexander Pushkin" exhibition was opened in Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve (Moscow Region). It features illustrations of the poet’s works from the National Pushkin Museum's collection.

Members of the Mamontov (Abramtsevo) circle constantly appealed to the oeuvre of the "sun of Russian poetry". In 2014, Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve hosted a joint exhibition of two Pushkin museums - the National Pushkin Museum (Saint-Petersburg) and the Alexander Pushkin State Museum (Moscow). It was entitled "Pushkin in the Works of Abramtsevo Artists". This project is continued by the current exchange of exhibitions. The "Goodnight Fairy Tale" exhibition, which features Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve collection, will be held in Saint-Petersburg.
