Exhibitions: "The Brothers Grimm - Life and Oeuvre" exposition from the collection of the Brothers Grimm Museum in Kassel opened in Belgorod

The "The Brothers Grimm - Life and Oeuvre" exposition from the collection of the Brothers Grimm Museum in Kassel (Germany) was opened in the Belgorod State Literary Museum.

Brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm are famous German linguists, founders of German philology, German folk culture researchers, collectors of folk fairy tales. They began the research activity when they were twenty years old. The result of their work was the "German Dictionary", which was completed by followers only in the 1970s, the world-famous collection "Children's and Household Tales" published in 1812.

The exhibition features the scientific, public and collecting activities of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. The exposition showcases reproductions of numerous documents and rare photographs, reprint editions, and well-known illustrations of fairy tales. The exhibition also introduces the activities of the Brothers Grimm Museum in Kassel.

The exhibition will run until June 27.
