Society and Culture: Syktyvkar hosts the III Northern Cultural Forum

On March 11-13, 2020, the capital of Komi Republic - Syktyvkar hosts the Northern Cultural Forum for the third time, which will be attended by more than 600 participants. Russian and foreign experts will discuss topical issues in the development of the northern territories' cooperation.

The Forum has various topics of the expert platforms: preservation of the Northern intangible cultural heritage, regional cinema problems, discussion about the "Culture" national project realization. The Scientific-Practical Conference "Culture of the North: the Area of Traditions of Today’s World" will unite the scientific community.  

The Forum will feature musical concerts and exhibition projects for the general public. A discussion of several issues united by the common theme "Culture of Happiness" will take place on March 12. The plenary meeting of the Forum will bring together experts and many other public cultural workers.
