Information Technology and Museums: The Leo Tolstoy Museum-Estate "Yasnaya Polyana" launched the "Faces of the Tolstoy’s House" multimedia project

The Leo Tolstoy Museum-Estate "Yasnaya Polyana" (Tula Region) launched a special multimedia project - "Faces of the Tolstoy’s House". The virtual exhibition includes 18 portraits of the XVIII-XIX centuries, featuring the history of the Tolstoy family.

These portraits decorate the walls of Tolstoy’s House as it used to be during the writer's life.

The special value of the Leo Tolstoy Museum-Estate "Yasnaya Polyana" art collection is that the portraits of Leo Tolstoy, his wife, and daughters were created by famous Russian artists - Ivan Kramskoy, Ilya Repin, Nikolai Ge, Valentin Serov.

The Leo Tolstoy Museum-Estate "Yasnaya Polyana" multimedia project features not only the portraits' collection of the writer's memorial house but also the fates of the real people.
