Information technology and Education: Yandex to develop a platform for complete remote learning

Yandex will develop a platform for complete remote learning. It will include tools for interactive video broadcasts of classes and class communication with the teacher, as well as video lessons from leading teachers in all subjects. The service will be available for free in all Russian regions in March. Besides, it will be integrated into all Yandex educational products.

On March 30, the tools for remote lessons will appear in Yandex.Textbook, which is used by teachers from more than 22 thousand Russian schools.

"I am a Teacher" project for teachers will prepare a series of training courses and practical recommendations on the organization of remote learning.

On April 1, Yandex will launch a complete online school for 5–11 classes. It will be available to all Russian school students in Yandex.Efir and Yandex.Tutor.

Broadcasts will take place during school hours to correspond to the familiar schedule of children and parents.
