The Russian National Music Museum provides access to special online programs and projects.

The museum along and the leading Russian media service Yandex offer a series of digital projects devoted to the history of world musical art and representing valuable objects from the museum’s collections. The "Yandex. Large Museum" platform features interesting facts from the history of the State Collection of Unique Musical Instruments of the Russian Federation.

Portal "Yandex. Music" provides thematic playlists based on unique audio recordings intended for the museum's exhibition projects.

Amazing stories about objects from the museum’s collection can be found on the museum’s channel on "Yandex. Zen". The museum’s joint project "Expomusic" with the "Orpheus" radio station is also available to the general public.

"Collection of Special Purpose. Marking the 100th anniversary of the State Collection of Unique Musical Instruments of the Russian Federation" special project presents masterpieces of such masters as Stradivari, Amati, Guarneri, and also allows listening to the voices of these masterpieces. It was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and "Russian Seasons in Germany".

The Russian National Music Museum's official website features virtual exhibitions "Famous and Forgotten in the M. S. Weinberg's Oeuvre" and "Modern Musical Culture in Documents and Faces", a virtual tour of the permanent exhibition and the museum’s digital collection.
