Internet and History: Website of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation launched a new documentary section marking the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Bratislava during the Great Patriotic War

The website of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation launched a new historical section "Brotherly Glory and Courage" with declassified documents from the collection of the Central Military Archive, marking of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Bratislava (capital of Slovakia) from the Nazi invaders.

The Internet portal users will get access to archival documents - cipher telegrams, front and political reports, prize papers and photo materials.

The section's documents evidence about the excellent courage and heroism of the Red Army’s soldiers during the liberation of Bratislava.

The publication of declassified documents on the liberation of Bratislava from the collection of the Central Military Archive of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation is aimed at protecting historical truth, countering falsifications of history and attempts to revise the results of the Great Patriotic War and World War II.
