Museums of Russia: Specialists of the State Museum-Reserve "Kulikovo Field" discovered new relicts

Specialists of the State Museum-Reserve "Kulikovo Field" discovered unusual finds of the XIV century.

It was found that one of the tips of the spear is a weapon of the Golden Horde cavalry of the Battle of Kulikovo. The other finds also belong to the same period: arrowheads, fragments of the battle axes' blades, saddle girth and belt buckles, pads and rings.

"Expanded circle of finds allows us to fill in the gaps in history and form our ideas about the way of the battle", said Andrei Naumov, museum's deputy director for research.

New exhibits will enter the museum's collection at the end of 2020. Now they are studied in detail by specialists.
