Internet and Peoples of Russia: "Traditions of Peoples of Volga Region" Internet campaign launched

The Astrakhan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center of Folk Culture launched the "Traditions of Peoples of Volga Region" Internet campaign. It is held in the framework of the All-Russian folk art festival "The Volga United Us for Centuries".

Main requirements of the campaign:

The participant should write and post on a personal page on social networks information about the traditions of the people living in the territory of Astrakhan Region. It can be a story, a description of rituals, customs, rites, national holidays, traditional clothes and crafts, epic songs, fairy tales, folk games, etc .;

Pages of participants and thematic groups should be open during the time of the campaign;

Publications participating in the campaign should be pointed with the hashtags #TradiziiNarodovPovolzhya (Traditions of Peoples of Volga Region) and #NasNavekOb'edenilaVolga (The Volga United Us for Centuries);

Old photographs and short videos on related themes are also available to release.

The campaign will run until September 1, 2020.

The most interesting publications will be released on the official accounts of the Center and the "Archive of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Astrakhan Region" website.
