Information Technologies and Museums: The Tula Guards Airborne Unit to create an interactive tour of the Museum of Military Glory

16 April 2020

The Tula Guards Airborne Unit is creating a unique interactive tour of the Museum of Military Glory.

The video tour will feature unique exhibits. This is a guards' sign, found during excavations of the graves of soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, and various types of weapons. The most valuable exhibit is the set of the "For Homeland" newspaper, preserved from the period of the Great Patriotic War.

The section devoted to the modern stage of the history of the military unit features exhibits related to the first landing of the crew inside the vehicle, the war in Afghanistan, the North Caucasus, the peacekeeping operation in Kosovo, etc. The contemporary history is presented by certificates of honor, pendants, and the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on the designation of the division with the honorable name "Tula". A special place at the exhibition is occupied by a commemorative stele with the names of paratroopers who died performing military duty.

The unique materials of the ready project will be sent to all military units to introduce them to the museum’s exposition.
