Memory of Russia: Multimedia Art Museum launched the multimedia project Photobiennale 2020 "Our Victory - 75"

The Multimedia Art Museum (Moscow) is launching the most important multimedia project Photobiennale 2020 "Our Victory - 75", devoted to war photographers.

From May 9, 2020, the project will be available on the "History of Russia in Photographs" portal. It will run until June 24.

The museum's archives hold the photographs whose authors are unknown. About some authors, nothing is known, except for the name and surname. Meanwhile, every war photographer - like every soldier who fought at the front - can not and should not be forgotten.

Every Thursday, during seven weeks, the museum will feature unique photographs that allow restoring the events of World War II from June 22, 1941 - the day of Nazi Germany’s attack on the USSR until June 24, 1945 - the first Victory Parade on Red Square.
