Internet and History: "Alexander Nevsky and Novgorod Land" virtual exhibition launched on the website of the Novgorod Regional Universal Scientific Library

The "Alexander Nevsky and Novgorod Land" virtual exhibition was launched on the website of the Novgorod Regional Universal Scientific Library. The exhibition is one of the library's events marking the 800th anniversary of Alexander Nevsky, which will be celebrated in 2021. The decree of the President of the Russian Federation on marking this date in Russia was signed on June 24, 2014.

The "Alexander Nevsky and Novgorod Land" virtual exhibition showcases books and magazine publications from the library’s book fund, which feature the most remarkable events in the history of Russia during the reign of Alexander Nevsky and his life in Novgorod. Prince Alexander Nevsky was a grand general and diplomat, a statesman of Ancient Russia, one of the most prominent figures in Russian history.
