The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve announced the final of the restoration of the Stucco Study. It is located in the Chinese Palace of Catherine II in Oranienbaum.

"The hall preserved the decoration of the XVIII century, made in the plaster technique of Alberto Gianni, an associate of Antonio Rinaldi, as well as the works of the painters who created with him - Stefano Torelli, Antonio Rotari, Giambettino Cignaroli. Historical furniture and parquet have also been restored", said the press service of the museum.

Visitors to the palace will have an opportunity to see two paintings and two overdoors (decorative panels over a door) of the Italian artists of the XVIII century in the original author's colors. Restorers reinforced their paint layer and remove tinting that was applied in Soviet times.
