Museums of Russia: Marina and Anastasia Tsvetaeva Museum in Feodosia opened after re-exposition

2 July 2020

On July 2, 2020, the opening ceremony of the Marina and Anastasia Tsvetaeva Museum is held in Feodosia.

The museum is located in a historic building of the late XIX century, where Anastasia Tsvetaeva and her son lived in 1913-1914. This place was attended by Marina Tsvetaeva and her husband Sergei Efron, Maximilian Voloshin, Konstantin Bogaevsky, Alexandra Petrova and other famous Feodosia residents.

The youngest Tsvetaeva museum in Russia was enlarged with four rooms. The new exposition features the family history of the Tsvetaevs sisters, art evolution, and, of course, the Koktebel and Feodosia periods, which occupy a special place in poets' life and oeuvre. The new rooms present fascinating facts about the life of the Tsvetaevs. They are also full of the bright and interesting atmosphere of the everyday and cultural life of Feodosia in the beginning of the XX century.
