The State Darwin Museum launched the "Loyalty to the Old Days and the Belief in the Miraculous" exhibition. It introduces to the Kenozero National Park - a specially protected natural area, a place of the prehistoric human inhabitation, traditional farming, local crafts, culture and language. The National Park aims not only to protect rare species of animals and plants but also to preserve and restore monuments of wooden architecture. It is a unique space in the world by the degree of preservation and number of cultural landscapes. The exhibition continues the second season of the "Meet the Reserves!" Kenozero National Park was founded in 1991 in the southwestern part of Arkhangelsk Region. The unique location of the park on the border of the Russian platform and the Baltic shield, the watershed between the basins of the White and Baltic seas, and the natural characteristics — all which determines the biodiversity of plants and animals.

The "Loyalty to the Old Days and the Belief in the Miraculous" exhibition consists of photographs and paintings. Vadim Shtrik’s photographs are taken from a bird’s flight. They capture "patterns" of numerous rivers, lakes and Kenozero islands, landscapes of all parts of the park, lots of objects of wooden architecture, villages and landmarks. The photographer flew over Kenozero and its environs for about a thousand kilometres during the expedition of the "Geofoto" Agency and the "TVS.aero" Studio in 2015. The other part of the exhibition is represented by paintings from the Kenozero National Park museum collection. These are works of 1970-2000 by artists Elena Dikova (Kargopol), Ivan Kovalenko (Moscow), Yuri Lomkov (Severodvinsk), Natalia Novikova (Moscow), Anastasia Udova (Moscow).
