Marking the Year of Memory and Glory: Russian schools to give the All-Russian Lesson devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War in the first day of classes

The schools of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation will give the All-Russian Lesson marking the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.

"In the Year of Memory and Glory, the traditional lesson on September 1 will mark the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory", said the Minister of Education, Sergei Kravtsov.

This year, about 1.9 million children will go to school for the first time. The new academic year will begin for a total of 17 million schoolchildren.
