Regions of Russia: Moscow to celebrate City Day

Moscow marks City Day on the first weekend of autumn - September 5 and 6, 2020.

This year, Moscow celebrates its 873rd anniversary. The main festive events are held in parks, local festival venues and cultural institutions.

The theme of celebrations is "Museums of Moscow".

Moscow residents and guests of the capital have the opportunity to visit 90 museums and exhibition halls for free. Preliminary registration is available from September 1.

Historical reconstructions, intellectual games, master classes, exhibitions, lectures and sports events are held in city parks and at local festival venues decorated with unusual art installations.

Moscow museums prepared special programs featuring historical events and masterpieces of art.
