Moscow residents are invited to vote for their favourite statues and monuments. The most popular sculptures will appear on the "Active Citizen" interactive map.

Among the objects proposed in the voting - the monument "Worker and Kolkhoz Woman", a monument to Minin and Pozharsky, a monument to Peter the Great, a monument to Vladimir Mayakovsky on Triumfalnaya Square and many others. Also, citizens may offer their favourite sculptures and memorials. Voting proposes choosing up to five items.

The first monument in Moscow was the sculptural ensemble of Minin and Pozharsky installed in 1818. Since then, more than three thousand objects of monumental art have been installed in the city, informs the Moscow Mayor official website.

Citizens have already chosen the best parks, favourite scenic viewpoints, city embankments and fountains, walk areas, meeting places, the best photo locations, and even the most exciting public transport routes. Each vote of the series "Moscow of an "Active Citizen": Favorite City Places" engaged around 130 thousand users. After summing up the final results, all locations selected by residents will appear on the online map.
