The building of the "Old Laboratory" in Koltushi (Vsevolozhsky district of Leningrad Region) will house the Academician Pavlov Scientific and Art Museum.

The project will be performed in 2021, with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation. It is a joint project of the Techno-Art Center of Saint-Petersburg and the Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences "Pavlov School".

The museum of the first Russian Nobel laureate will cover art & science. The creation of the exhibition will involve artists who will interpret and explain the Pavlov School activity. These ideas will be realized as installations - interactive and multimedia exhibits, created with means of augmented reality, 3D projections, bio-art, etc.

A memorial museum of the scientist has been locating in the "Old Laboratory" in Koltushi since 1949, not far from the Pavlov Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The new exposition will highlight scientific achievements, the scientist's life and Pavlov's friends and followers like physiologists Levon Orbeli and Alexander Ugolev, the founder of space medicine Vladimir Chernigovsky and primatologist Leonid Firsov, etc.
