Memory of Russia: Novgorod Region to host the VIII Military and Historical Festival "Forgotten Feat - Second Shock Army"

On September 26, 2020, Tesovo-Netylsky village in Novgorod Region will host the VIII Military and Historical Festival "Forgotten Feat - Second Shock Army".

Festival will feature several interactive expositions including open-air mini-museums about everyday life of the Red Army soldiers, who fought at the Volkhov Front, and a unique collection of narrow-gauge locomotives. Visitors may attend army camps and observe a large military and historical reconstruction of the summer battles of 1942 with the participation of weapons, military and aviation equipment.

The festival organizers are the "Forgotten Feat" Art Association and the Tesovskaya Narrow-gauge Railway Museum. Within eight years, they have been commemorating the memory of brave defenders of Motherland - the Second Shock Army soldiers, who fought in these places.
