Museums of Russia: X Small Museums Forum launched in Saint-Petersburg

On October 1-11, 2020, Saint-Petersburg hosts the X Small Museums Forum.

The Small Museums Forum is an annual autumn festival, which introduces topical programs and events of "small" museums - museums of higher educational institutions, industrial enterprises, memorial, historical and local lore foundations. The forum brings together museums of all kinds, including Russian history, as well as contemporary art institutions, both in Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad Region. The organizer is the Raznochinny Petersburg Memorial Museum.

In 2020, the festival marks the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The epidemiological situation forced museums to include in their programs online formats.
