Information Technology and Museums: Russian National Music Museum to provide access to the electronic library "Treasury of Sacred Music"

The Russian National Music Museum opened access to the electronic library "Treasury of Sacred Music". The online resource releases digital copies of old music manuscripts and printed editions from the museum's collection.

In particular, the library features Old Believers' books of the XVII– XX centuries, documents on the singing art from various centres of the Old Believers, as well as sacred music by classics and liturgical books.

The portal also includes publications that do not belong to the Old Russian tradition. There are historical manuscripts, private diaries and letters of the XIX century researchers: Prince Vladimir Odoevsky, Archpriest Dimitri Razumovsky, Archpriest Vasily Metallov and Soviet musicologist Viktor Belyaev.
