Internet and Culture: Shchusev State Museum of Architecture launched a new season of online lectures

The Shchusev State Museum of Architecture (Moscow) launches six cycles of lectures on the history of Russian and foreign architecture. Online meetings will run until April 16 on the Zoom platform.

The lecture season opened with the cycle "Russian Baroque Architecture". The museum experts also spoke about the architecture of modern public buildings in different European countries.

Lectures about Konstantin Melnikov, a Russian architect of the XX century, will be held from February 4 to March 11.

The cycle "Gothic Architecture" starts on February 7. It spotlights the origins of this style and the features of the space organization. Lectures "Ancient Greek Architectural Sculpture: Perception, Semantics, Contexts" will run from February 10. It will focus on the synthesis of ancient architectural and plastic forms. The last cycle "The Art of Florence" will be launched on March 12.
