Society and Culture: Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy to hold festive events marking World Poetry Day

On March 21, 2021, the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy invites to celebrate World Poetry Day. Festive events on this day were arranged by the Slavic Writing Center "Slovo", the "Books" and "Robostation" pavilions.

The exhibition visitors will enjoy a musical and poetry concert, an informative lecture on the influence of European poetry on Russian authors, as well as a reading of Alexander Pushkin’s poems by a robot of the poet.

World Poetry Day was declared by the 30th UNESCO session in 1999. It aims to draw attention to national, regional and international poetry movements. On this day, the world hosts various poetry concerts, author readings, conferences and seminars devoted to poets and their oeuvre, presentations of poetry collections.
