Internet and Culture: Discover Moscow portal to tell about the oldest theatres in the capital

The Discover Moscow portal and the Moscow City Heritage Agency prepared a collection of materials about the oldest theatres in the capital. Users will learn about the establishment and development of theatrical art in Moscow.

"The portal users will have an opportunity to learn about the history of the Bolshoi and Maly theatres, the Korsh Theatre (Theatre of Nations) and the Paradise Theatre (Vladimir Mayakovsky Theatre). It will be possible to look at the buildings of these theatres (objects of cultural heritage) and admire their architecture without leaving home. The thematic selection includes video and audio materials, as well as modern and archival photographs with a detailed description of all objects", said Sergey Shakryl, curator of cultural and business IT projects of the Moscow IT Department.
