Memorable dates of Russia: Exhibition "Nekrasov in illustrations by Russian and Soviet artists" presented in St. Petersburg on the eve of the 200th writer’s anniversary

The exhibition "Nekrasov in illustrations by Russian and Soviet artists" will run until May 7, 2021 at the Derzhavin Museum-Estate (St. Petersburg).

The exhibition is timed to coincide with the 200th anniversary of the birth of the poet, journalist, publisher Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov and is held as part of the anniversary events prepared by the museum.

The exhibition presents not only illustrations for the works of Nekrasov, but also paintings, partly "illustrating" the biography of the poet himself, his hobbies, affection, character traits.
