History and culture: Scientific and practical readings "Library in the Estate" held in the Pushkin Reserve

April 14-17, 2021 Pushkin Reserve (Pskov Region) holds regular Scientific and Practical Readings "Library in the Estate" for everyone interested in studying Russian culture of the 18th-20th centuries, including the history of the Russian estate, Russian literature, history books and book manor traditions, presentation of unique publications in the exposition, exhibition and publishing activities of museums and libraries.

Unique publications are of interest as a source of information from a certain historical period, as a sample of printed products, as a witness to the life of a family or an individual. Book monuments are studied by specialists, attract the attention of a demanding reader, and form the basis of museum collections.

Participants of the event are invited to talk about the role of these publications, about their relevance in the educational activities of modern libraries, museums, schools and universities.
