History of Russia: The exhibition "Alexander Nevsky: saint, warrior, statesman, diplomat" opened in Moscow

The exhibition "Alexander Nevsky: saint, warrior, statesman, diplomat" will be open at the headquarters of the Russian Military Historical Society (Moscow) on April 15, 2021.

The exposition is based on unique monuments of Russian medieval books from the collections of the Department of Manuscripts of the RSL and publications about Alexander Nevsky, his time and legacy from the collections of the RVIO Library.

The samples of orders named after Alexander Nevsky of the period of the Russian Empire, the USSR and modern Russia are also presented. Copies of the designs of the monument to Alexander Nevsky, presented in the RVIO for the competition for the installation of memorials in Leningrad and Pskov Regions, were used in the design of the exhibition space.
