Territory of Russia: Activity plan to implement the Arctic development strategy approved

Government of Russia approved activity plan to implement the Strategy for the Development of the Arctic Zone and the Fundamentals of State Policy in the Arctic.

The work is carried out within the framework of the President's decree.

Solving social problems, creating a comfortable environment for life, attracting new investors, stimulating industrial production and ensuring state security - measures in these areas were included in the plan for the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of the Arctic Zone and the Fundamentals of State Policy in the Arctic. This document was approved by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

In total, the plan contains 268 events. The main part will be completed in 2021–2022.

Also, the strategy for the development of tourism in Russia by the end of 2021 will be supplemented with a section dedicated to recreation in the Arctic.
