Memory of the World: Exhibition "The Saved World Remembers...", which presents congratulations to the allies to the Soviet state on the Victory opened in Moscow
The exhibition "The Saved World Remembers ...", which was prepared jointly by the Russian State Archive of Contemporary History and the Russian Historical Society under the auspices of the Federal Archival Agency is opened on April 23, 2021 in Moscow, at the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The exposition is based on originals and facsimiles of official messages, encrypted messages and telegrams from the heads of state of the anti-Hitler coalition, their translations into Russian with notes from Stalin and top officials in his entourage. There are also greetings and congratulations to the Red Army on the victory at Stalingrad and in the Caucasus, words of gratitude for the liberation of European cities and the release of prisoners from death camps, enthusiastic letters from kings, prime ministers, sheikhs, presidents and ordinary citizens from all over the world, when Soviet troops took Berlin and the hardest war in Europe are finally over ...
