History of Russia: Exhibition "Cartography of Kronstadt. Maps, Plans, Projects" to open

On May 20, 2021, the Museum of Kronstadt History will open the exhibition "Cartography of Kronstadt. Maps, Plans, Projects".

The joint exhibition of the Russian State Naval Archives and the Museum of Kronstadt History presents a part of an extensive collection of unique maps and plans of Kronstadt for over 300 years. It allows improving, developing and changing the knowledge about the city. Many maps and plans of Kronstadt are showcased for the first time.

Described numerous times by contemporaries, represented in multiple works of chroniclers and local historians, Kronstadt remains for many a mystical, legendary and secret place.

The exhibition will run until June 18, 2021.
