Marking Russian Language Day: National Pushkin Museum in Saint-Petersburg to hold festive events

Marking the 222nd anniversary of the great Russian poet, the National Pushkin Museum prepared a program celebrating the annual Russian Language Day and Pushkin Day on June 6. The festival will be held on the Moika River embankment, 12 and in the Memorial Lyceum Museum.

The program includes speeches by the museum heads; a concert program "Tribute to Pushkin"; a play based on the novel by Alexander Pushkin The Squire's Daughter; laying flowers at the monument to Alexander Pushkin in the Lyceum Garden; a workshop "Sincerely Yours..." at the Pushkin Memorial Country House Museum.

On June 6, the museum's website will release the results of the annual campaign #HappyBirthdayPushkin2021.
