The large-scale project "Catherine II. Private Space" will be completed in 2023. It includes the reconstruction of eight interiors of the Zubovsky Wing of the Catherine Palace in the Tsarskoye Selo Museum-Reserve. Aleksey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, announced it at the ceremony of signing the cooperation agreement in the field of cultural heritage preservation and development of the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve within the framework of SPIEF-2021.

Previously, Gazprom supported the restoration of the Lyon Hall interiors, in particular, the picturesque plafond, lapis lazuli panels, as well as fireplaces, inlaid door panels, mirrors with lapis lazuli frames and cast bronze decor.

In October 2019, the Tsarskoye Selo Museum-Reserve and Gazprom announced the launch of the large-scale project "Catherine II. Private Space". It includes the reconstruction of the interiors of the Zubovsky Wing of the Catherine Palace. Blue (Snuffbox), Mirror and Silver Cabinets, Bedroom, Dome and Chinese Rooms, Dressing and Raphael Rooms are eight unique interiors created in the XVIII century by Charles Cameron and Giacomo Quarenghi. They are masterpieces of classicism. These rooms were the private apartments of Empress Catherine II. Their decoration was completely lost during the Great Patriotic War.
