8 July 2021

The Tsaritsyno Museum and Nature Reserve (Moscow) launched the "Family - the Soul of Russia" exhibition, marking the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness.

For the fifth time, the Grand Palace of the Tsaritsyno Museum and Nature Reserve hosts the exhibition "Family - the Soul of Russia". It features realistic art from the museum and private collections. The participants are professional and non-professional artists, students of art universities and photographers who joined the contest of the same name. The exposition traditionally marks the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness, which is closely connected with the life of Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom, an example of family faithfulness and happiness for many people.

This year, the exhibition is devoted to medical workers and their professional activities, which they perform every day in our difficult times.

The second part of the exposition presents works by professional and non-professional artists and students of art universities, selected by the official jury of the "Family - the Soul of Russia" All-Russian Contest. In 2021, the contest involved more than two thousand artworks of experienced masters, talented students and very young artists.

The "Family - the Soul of Russia" exhibition will run until August 15, 2021, in Kazakov (paintings) and Bazhenov (photographs and exposition of young artists) halls of the Grand Palace in Tsaritsyno.
