Internet and Culture: Kultura.RF portal launched the Avant-garde Month

The Kultura.RF portal and VKontakte Clips launched the Avant-garde Month.

Every day the Clips section of the official portal releases videos about the highlights in the history of the Russian Avant-garde - key ideas, authors, works and styles. Videos are in alphabetical order. A new term corresponds to a particular letter.

The videos are part of the ABC of Avant-garde special project, arranged by Kultura.RF together with the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy in 2018. This material has become the most popular project of the portal over the past few years.

The audience will learn what Lef magazine is famous for, how the Jack of Diamonds and UNOVIS movements changed art, how to identify paintings in Primitivism, Rayonism and Suprematism.

Also, Kultura.RF and Clips invite cultural institutions to join the project, posting short vertical videos with stories about Avant-garde and relevant things.

The ABC of Avant-garde project will run until the end of August.
