Museums and Society: XI Forum of Small Museums of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region launched

The XI Forum of Small Museums of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region runs on October 1-10, 2021. It brings together 66 institutions and discusses the role of personality in a museum. It is an annual city autumn festival, which involves dozens of "small" museums that promote exciting events for residents and guests of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region at their sites. The program includes excursions, lectures, exhibitions, interactive events for children and adults, and open days.

This year, it engages the following museums that participate for the first time: Memorial Museum-Apartment of the Samoilov Family of Actors, Museum of Bridges, Joseph Brodsky Museum-Apartment, Fyodor Shalyapin House-Museum, St. Petersburg Toys Museum, Museum "School in the Suitcase" (School No. 50 of Petrogradsky District), Museum of St. Petersburg Pediatric State Medical University, Museum of Television, Museum "Combat Way of the 19th Tank Corps" (St. Petersburg Technical College), Museum "Worthy Sons of the Fatherland" (Admiral D. N. Senyavin Marine Technical College), Museum-Estate "Suida".
