The Museum Moscow Online portal provides exhibitions revealing the life and work of Sergei Yesenin, whose 126th birthday was celebrated on October 3. The digital expositions feature more than 220 items. They include archival photographs, lithographs, copies of handwritten documents, the poet's private belongings and digitized covers of his books.

"The portal allows all lovers of Yesenin's oeuvre to study in detail photographs from his family archives, copies of handwritten poems and even private belongings, such as the poet's shirt or armchair. The project's website presents about 700 exhibitions and digital versions of more than 80 thousand exhibits of various kinds, including many unique objects", the press service of the IT Department said.
