Society and Book Culture: Scientific and Practical Conference "Book Rarities in the Aspect of Preservation" to hold in Moscow

Marking the institution's centenary, the Library for Foreign Literature holds the V Annual Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference "Book Rarities in the Aspect of Preservation". It runs from October 19 to October 21, 2021.

Since 2017, a conference has been a regular event held jointly by the Centre for the Conservation and Restoration of Documents, the Centre for Rare Books and Collections of the Library for Foreign Literature.

The conference aims to arrange a professional dialogue of specialists working with library collections considering modern trends in the development of Russian and world methods, materials and technologies.

The conference is a platform for discussing a wide range of issues related to the research, preservation and promotion of the book's cultural heritage.
