History and Culture: "The Silver Age of Jewellers" exhibition from the collections of the State Historical Museum opened in Ulan-Ude

The National Museum of the Republic of Buryatia (Ulan-Ude) presents a unique exhibition project "The Silver Age of Jewellers" from the collections of the State Historical Museum (Moscow).

The exposition features over 250 pieces of jewellery from a special storeroom of the State Historical Museum. It showcases items of Russian jewellery art of the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries - a period of high flourishing of Russian culture, the rebirth of the national school and world recognition of the domestic jewellery industry.

The exhibition shows the development of the "Russian" style from the "historical" style, which revives the ancient Russian art features, to the national romanticism, which became the highlight of the modern era.
