Virtual exhibition "Anton Chekhov. "I go to Crimea. I'll be in Yalta" was arranged by the Anton Chekhov House-Museum in Yalta and is available on the Artefact platform.

Yalta is not accidentally called the city of Chekhov. The great writer spent the last five years of his life here. He had a huge impact on the city. Yalta has a street, a theatre, a library, a school and a sanatorium named in honour of the writer. Among the works written in Yalta and recognized as the best Chekhov's are The Student, The Darling, Three Sisters, The Bishop, The Lady with the Dog, The Cherry Orchard.

The exhibition features photographs, documents and exhibits spotlighting Chekhov's life and work. For example, it showcases the writer's medical instruments, fishing accessories, materials devoted to the creation of a garden of "eternal spring" in Yalta, and much more.
